Telehealth or eHealth is defined by the World Health Organisation as “the use of electronic means to deliver information, resources and services related to health”. It is a modern method of providing healthcare such as Audiological services to people in an efficient and effective way without sacrificing quality of care. Most of the major hearing aid manufacturers have remote hearing care available and it can be accessed by the hearing aid wearer via an app on their smartphone. 

 At All Ears in Hearing, we can offer hearing aid programming and adjustments via Telehealth or eHealth. At this stage, we still prefer to do hearing assessments and the initial hearing aid fitting face to face. However, for any follow ups or aid adjustments, we can arrange an eHealth appointment provided your devices are able to be remotely programmed.
